Today we dressed up as scientists to raise money for our classroom pets!

The Governor of Victoria came to visit our classroom. He wanted to see our blog. He was very impressed.

We have been learning about the months of the year. We all need to be able to say the months of the year in order.

We can count!

Meet Googles and Sparkles our new classroom pets!

Some things we already know about our fish:

• They eat fish food
• They live in water
• They have gills to breathe
• They move with their fins

Our fish made us wonder lots of things.

We wonder if they can only eat fish food.

We wonder how long they can live out of water.

We wonder if they breathe through their mouth as well as their gills.

We wonder if they live as long as humans.

We wonder how they protect themselves.
